RAW Pet Nutrition was founded in 2021 on a straightforward observation: most of the food pets in Jordan were eating had travelled halfway around the world, sat in a warehouse for the better part of a year, and bore very little resemblance to what a dog or a cat is actually built to eat.
We thought a country with this much good meat in it could do better than imported bags of extruded kibble. So we built a facility in Bayader and started making the food ourselves.
Our Story
RAW started in a kitchen at home in 2021. We were already reading labels on our own food, and it seemed strange to be careful about that and then hand the dog something that had been in a warehouse for a year.
The dogs that came to us first were the hard cases. Allergies, mostly. Owners who had worked through the prescription diets and were still dealing with a dog that scratched all night. We put those dogs on fresh food and watched what happened. That is the reason this became a business instead of a hobby.
There is nothing clever about it. Fresh meat, organ and bone in the right proportions, made recently, kept cold. What has changed since 2021 is how carefully we do it: recipes formulated against published nutritional standards, a cold chain we control, and a process that produces the same result every batch.
We make it in Bayader now, in a proper facility, from proteins sourced inside Jordan.

A region where pets live longer, healthier lives because good nutrition is something local, affordable and normal — not imported, premium and rare.
How We Make It
- Human-grade, sourced locally. Fit for human consumption, traceable to the supplier who provided it.
- Formulated, not improvised. Built against published nutritional profiles, with composition calculated rather than estimated.
- Nothing added that shouldn't be. No grains, fillers, artificial preservatives or added hormones.
- Frozen from our door to yours. Cold chain controlled from production through to delivery.
Our Mission
To manufacture species-appropriate pet food in Jordan to a standard usually reserved for human food, and to make it available to ordinary pet owners rather than only to those who can afford to import it.
Local Roots & National Pride
We manufacture here on purpose. It means we can stand in the room where our food is made, choose our own suppliers, and answer for every batch that leaves the building. It also means the money stays local - with Jordanian farmers, Jordanian suppliers, and a Jordanian workforce.
